On Pausing, Returning and Starting Again

There was a time when this shop was moving at full speed.

When I started in 2016 I was curating, shooting, posting, connecting. Telling stories through fabric, one piece at a time. And then, like life does sometimes, everything shifted. My momentum slowed. The shop quieted. My life began unraveling in ways I didn’t expect and couldn’t rush through.

Some things… maybe the most important things, can’t be forced back to life before they’re ready.

So I gave this space a little room to breathe. And in that pause, I started tending to the parts of me that needed healing. The parts that were burned out, heartbroken and resilient, but tired. I didn’t stop loving vintage, or storytelling, or this wild little corner of the internet I’ve carved out. I just needed time to find my footing again.

Now, I'm coming back. Not with a bang, but with intention. A little softer, a little stronger, and a lot more honest about what it takes to rebuild a life.

If you're curious about the behind-the-scenes of that journey, I’ve started sharing more personal reflections over on Substack. It’s where I write about everything from finding beauty in the mess to rediscovering my voice after divorce to the weird and wonderful ways a closet full of vintage can bring you back home to yourself.

If you're into second chances, soul-searching, or simply want to read something that makes you feel a little less alone, you're more than welcome there. It’s called The Ember Phase, and it’s a space where the light might be low, but it never fully goes out.

👉 Follow along here.

And if you’re just here for the vintage - that’s more than okay too. I'm just glad you’re here.
